Meeting The Challenge
In this challenge you will be entering content and designing the look and feel of the home page for your personal client’s site.

1. Meet with your personal client to discuss the elements of design, logo, and content for the home page that should be included in the website.  Discuss your plans with your mentor in an email before developing the home page.
2. Insert a brief description and a list of meaningful keywords for your home page.
3. Insert an effective and meaningful title for your home page.
4. Create a company banner that includes an original company logo as well as text using Fireworks. Insert the image into your home page. Make sure the company banner is properly saved in the assets folder of the website.
5. Add the appropriate content to your home page. 
6. Format the home page attractively, applying the four elements of design (contract, repetition, alignment, and proximity).
7. Create a text navigation structure and add links from the home page to your other pages.
8. Include an email link to contact your client.
9. Insert a “Last updated” statement that includes a date that updates automatically when you save the file.
10. Test all of your links and check for misspelled words. When you have completed your work and used the rubric provided on the Knowing You Have Succeeded page, find the assignment in your Google Classroom and select TURN IN.
